Asian Woman Interviews Unsuspecting White People In Fox News-Inspired Video

Jesse Watters’ racist Chinatown TV news segment that hinged on ridiculous stereotypes has inspired another man-on-the-street interview.

The parody is as ridiculous as Watters’ report Monday on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor.” But this one actually tries to make a point.

In order to get into the minds of white voters, Jenny Yang, a Los Angeles-based comedian, went to the one place that accurately represents all white people in America: Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.

As seen in the video below, Yang, who was born in Taiwan but raised in Los Angeles, asks unsuspecting white Americans the most pressing topics this election that affect their community in a video for Fusion Comedy.

She asks: “Is that L.L. Bean?” or, “Is that Lululemon?” or, “Is this the year of the sparkling rosé?” Things even get a little tense when Yang brings up controversial subjects, including Martha’s Vineyard, Aspen, ultimate frisbee and Burning Man.

What’s shocking is when one man stays silent after Yang asks him a question ― which she asked in a language not English, but that’s beside the point.

And if you find Yang’s stereotypes offensive, then you’ll understand why Watters’ Chinatown segment was not just “good fun.”
