Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Lisa, and More Stars to Perform at 2025 Oscars
The Academy is revealing new details about its star-studded awards show this weekend, announcing the performers set for Sunday. Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doja Cat, Lisa, Raye, and Queen Latifah are among those who will perform at the Oscars ceremony on March 2.
Grande and Erivo will perform songs from their roles in the musical Wicked, for which they are both nominated. (A short video announcing their performance teased the pair singing Wicked songs live “only at the Oscars.”)

“A spellbinding moment awaits. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande take the #Oscars stage for a performance you won’t forget,” the Academy wrote on X about Erivo and Grande’s performance.
The Academy also appeared to tease that Doja Cat, Lisa, and Raye may perform together after they released their collaboration, “Born Again.” The organization shared an X post and wrote that the trio will “take the stage for a showstopping celebration of cinema.”
Along with the A-list stars, the Los Angeles Master Chorale will make an appearance at the awards show. This year’s Oscars are being executive-produced by Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan. Conan O’Brien will host the ABC-streamed Oscars on March 2 from Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre.
Emilia Pérez — whose nominated lead actress Karla Sofía Gascón is under fire for racist posts on X — leads the nominations list with 13 nods. Wicked and The Brutalist follow with 10 nods each. Those three films are also up for Best Picture against Anora, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys, and The Substance.
Last year’s Oscars ceremony featured performances by Becky G, Andrea Bocelli, Jon Batiste, and Billie Eilish, whose song “What Was I Made For?” won the Oscar for Best Original Song.
