'Luther' gets a third season

BBC One has announced that season 3 of Luther, starring Golden Globe winner Idris Elba as a detective whose life gets worse as his caseload gets more twisted, will begin shooting this month. “There will be four perfectly dark, chillingly-formed episodes,” the promo below promises. Will Alice (Ruth Wilson) return? “Only Alice knows.” That better be a “yes.”
