'Charlie Countryman' trailer: Shia LaBeouf, ecstasy, and strip clubs
If your dead mother appears to you in a vision and tells you to go to Bucharest, do you listen? Charlie Countryman does, and immediately hops on a plane to Romania.
In Charlie Countryman, directed by Fredrik Bond, Charlie (Shia LaBeouf) gets entangled in the seedy Bucharest underworld after falling for the mysterious Gabi (Evan Rachel Wood, rocking some intense eyeliner and a thick Romanian accent). Unfortunately Gabi is tied to a violent and acutely jealous mob boss played by Mads Mikkelsen. Til Schweiger, Rupert Grint, and Melissa Leo also star.
Check out the red band trailer after the jump. There’s nudity, blood, drugs, a lot of rough language, and a particularly disheveled LaBeouf, so judge accordingly. The work-friendly green band trailer is available here.
Charlie Countryman premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and will be released in theaters and on VOD Nov. 15.
