'American Horror Story' finale scares fewer viewers than last year
FX’s American Horror Story closed out season two with fewer viewers than last year.
Wednesday night’s one-hour finale for the Asylum edition of the gothic scare-fest delivered 2.3 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49. That viewership is down 28 percent from the first season closer.
AHS is renewed for a third season, with stars Jessica Lange, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson expected to return. Writer-producer Ryan Murphy tells EW that he expects the new season to be shot on location in three different cites.
