Angelina Jolie is sporting some fresh ink!
The Mr. & Mrs. Smith actress recently debuted a new tattoo, showing off yet another piece of body art that serves as a sweet nod to The Outsiders, a Broadway play that she has a hand in producing.
On the red carpet of the musical's opening last week—which she attended with her son Pax and daughter Vivienne, who also works as a production assistant on the project—she appeared in photos that displayed the not-yet-fully healed ink.
The body art reads "Stay Gold" written in a script font, and is placed nearby several other older tattoos of hers that run along her forearm.
The phrase is a line from the S.E. Hinton book The Outsiders and the 1983 Francis Ford Coppola film that the Broadway show is based on, per Allure. Additionally, it's the title of a song in the show.
Jolie isn't the only one who decided to get the permanent body art. On Sunday, April 14, Justin Levine, who works alongside Jolie and Vivienne on the show revealed he also got an identical "Stay Gold" tattoo via Instagram Stories.
The co-book writer and score creator showed off the ink, tagging tattoo artist Mark Mahoney, along with text that read, "Never thought I'd see the day"—a hint that, unlike the Maleficent star, it may be his only one.
In addition to Jolie and Levine, several other members of the creative team, including director Danya Taymor, all got the ink done by Mahoney, who is a friend of Jolie's, so it looks like working on the production has had quite the impact on the crew!
The Outsiders began its run at New York City's Bernard B. Jacobs Theater on March 16 and officially opened on April 11.
