American Duo Tenacious D Announces First Australian Tour In 11 Years
Legendary American duo Tenacious D is making their return to Australia with their Spicy Meatball Tour this July 2024. The duo members Jack Black and Kyle Gass will bring their unique blend of humor and rock music to stages across the country in over 10 years.
The last time the dynamic duo graced the Australian stage was 11 years ago in May 2013. Tenacious D will begin their tour on Sunday, 14th July, 2024 at Sydney’s ICC Theatre followed by Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, 16th July and they will conclude the tour at Adelaide’s Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday, 22nd July.
Tenacious D – ‘Tribute’
Tenacious D, best known for their hit song “Tribute,” have been making waves with their infectious tunes and hilarious music since 1964. The band treated their fans to new music with the premiere of their two songs, “Video Games” and “The Spicy Meatball Song,” at the Shaky Knees Festival in the US. Their Spicy Meatball Tour also took them across venues in the US from May to October 2023, showcasing their musical prowess and comedic flair.
Tenacious D recently paid homage to beloved video games in the music video for “Video Games,” featuring iconic titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Super Mario Bros. They even put their spin on Chris Isaak’s classic “Wicked Game” in June 2023, demonstrating their versatility and creativity.
Tenacious D’s return to Australia with their infectious energy and hilarious antics, promises to be an unforgettable experience for the Australian audience.
