Al Sharpton Tweets Old Photo With Then-Friendly Trump After ‘Conman’ Tweet: ‘Different Tune Now’
MSNBC contributor Rev. Al Sharpton fired back at President Donald Trump after he called Sharpton a “con man” in a tweet on Monday, posting a photo of himself and Trump from 2006, captioning it that Trump was telling him how much he respected his work. “Different tune now,” Sharpton said in a tweet. After Sharpton tweeted that he was on his way to Baltimore, the city that the president disparaged over the weekend, Trump quoted the tweet with his own: “I have known Al for 25 years. Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He “loved Trump!” He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing.
