Monaco joins CAA from A3 Artists Agency, where she spent five years as a talent agent in its theatrical division. The agency ceased operations in February. Prior to that, Monaco worked at Buchwald, in both its New York and Los Angeles offices, and Prestige Talent Agency. She began her career as an assistant at Aquila/Wood Casting and also has experience at a few boutique agencies.
CAA’s comedy touring division represents the likes of recent Saturday Night Live host Shane Gillis, Colin Jost, Gabriel Iglesias, Jack Whitehall, Jeff Dunham, Jo Koy, Katt Williams, Tim Robinson, Matt Rife, Andrew Schulz, Tim Dillon, Tracy Morgan and Trevor Noah, among others. The division also brokered the nine-figure deal for the SmartLess podcast (hosted by Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes) to move to SiriusXM and saw clients Robinson and Ayo Edebiri win Emmys in January for, respectively, Netflix’s I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson and FX and Hulu’s The Bear.
