Adorable puppies predict Super Bowl winner on 'The Tonight Show'
Once again, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon used possibly the most accurate way of predicting the outcome of sporting events, puppies, to figure out who will win Super Bowl LII between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. The show does this by filling two bowls with dog food, putting each team’s name on a bowl, and letting several puppies loose. Whichever team’s bowl has more puppies eating out of it is the predicted winner.
The Tonight Show has done this before, with mixed results. Last year the puppies picked the Atlanta Falcons over the Patriots. Three quarters into Super Bowl LI it looked like the puppies were right. But in the fourth quarter the Patriots pulled off a historic comeback.
This year the puppies overwhelmingly went with the five-time champs, the New England Patriots. If the Patriots win, quarterback Tom Brady will have more Super Bowl victories than any other player in NFL history with six.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Tonight Show for free on Yahoo View.
