Adam Levine Gives The Voice's Jordan Smith Wise Marriage Advice: 'Listen to the Woman ... She's Always Right'
Shortly after winning season 9 of The Voice, Jordan Smith won the heart of his girlfriend, Kristen Denny, when he proposed to her over New Years. Now, nearly a couple months into their engagement, Smith is asking his coach Adam Levine for marriage advice.
"Hey Adam, I'm getting married," Smith, 22, says in a clip exclusively obtained by PEOPLE. "Got any marriage advice for me, coach?"
"Congratulations entering the world of marriage, Jordan Smith," Levine responds. "Listen to the woman, man. She's always right. Even when you don't always think that's the case, make her feel like it is. Trust me."
Levine, who married Behati Prinsloo in 2014, popped the question after dating for a year.
Levine, 36, previously told Ryan Seacrest that the "relationship doesn't change," but admitted that marriage had changed him "in a great way."
Smith doesn't seem like he needs too much help when it comes to making his lady happy. The singer gave his fiancée the ultimate fairytale proposal.
On New Year's Day, the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner overlooking the city at the Top of the Hub in Boston.
Afterwards, "we went on a ride in a horse-drawn carriage through downtown that led to the Boston Public Garden," Smith previously told PEOPLE exclusively. "That's where I knelt on one knee and she said yes!"
We have a feeling Smith is going to be one adorable husband!
