Actor Glen Powell to return to the University of Texas at Austin to complete his degree
Actor Glen Powell will soon return to Austin to complete the final credits of his University of Texas degree. The Austin native hopes to graduate by Spring 2025, Powell told the TODAY Show.
The "Twisters" (2024) actor recently returned to his roots in the Texas capital after living in Hollywood for several years.
However, it’s unlikely to run into him on campus, as he'll spend much of his time overseas shooting "The Running Man" and will mostly use Zoom to attend classes and complete his coursework.
"I'm not going to be sitting in a class with other students on the regular," Glen told Indiewire in an interview published July 16. "I'm basically going to be coming back because I have to finish up, but I'm going to be shooting The Running Man in the fall. So I'm going to be in London, but I am going to be going back for proctored exams."
He will be on campus about two to three times each semester, he said. He is double majoring in Spanish and American history.
