Abby Lee Miller Goes Hip-Hop on ‘Dance Moms’
On Tuesday’s Dance Moms, Mackenzie Ziegler anticipated her departure from the dance studio. As Abby Lee Miller was assigning solos for the week’s competition, Mackenzie asked that her routine be changed from gymnastics to hip-hop. Abby Lee Miller was insulted that someone would dare question her judgment. She stormed out of the room and into her office.
Later, the moms tried to reason with Abby, but she shrieked, “The moms don’t rule the dance studio, you idiot.” She slammed her office window closed. The moms were left to fend for themselves, and Mackenzie learned a hip-hop dance routine from another choreographer.
As they prepared for their competition, Abby burst into the room wearing garish hip-hop costume jewelry, repeatedly saying “Moms better have my money.” Though she meant to antagonize the moms and the dancers, Mackenzie finished first place in the competition.
Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
