50 Cent Sued By Radio DJ For Hitting Her With Microphone
50 Cent has been sued by Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain for throwing a microphone in her direction, resulting in injury.
TMZ reports that Monegain filed legal documents in Los Angeles detailing Fif hitting her in the face last year. Documents state that the Queens emcee grew frustrated after his mic malfunctioned, and threw it into the audience. The host was in the direct line of fire and was severely injured from the thrown object. Bryhana alleged that the microphone left her with permanent damage to her face and provided pictures of a gash on her forehead.
Additionally, Bryhana alleges that she suffered from a concussion after being hit. The radio host is seeking wages she lost while away from her job during her recovery. She’s also seeking payment for accrued medical expenses. The outlet reported that Fif’s legal team has denied that he intentionally hit her.

The incident went down in August 2023 during 50 Cent’s Final Lap Tour. His show stopped at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena where his mic began experiencing technical difficulties. He threw the mic out of anger and it smacked the attendee in the head.
The woman was later identified as Power 106’s Monegain, who was treated at an LA hospital for her injuries. After the incident, Fif was named as a suspect of criminal battery for striking a woman. Monegain’s police report stated that the emcee looked directly at her before hitting her in the head.
A representative for 50 Cent argued that she “wasn’t supposed to be in the restricted area,” TMZ reports. Page Six reported that Fif’s attorney doubled down and said that his client didn’t “intentionally strike” the radio host. “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone,” Fif’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, said. “Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”
Shortly after the mic incident, criminal charges against 50 were dropped.
