50 Cent Slams A$AP Relli In Defense Of A$AP Rocky After Testimony
50 Cent feels he knows A$AP Relli’s true intentions in his dispute with A$AP Rocky. After Relli’s testimony on Tuesday (Jan. 28), the video spread like wildfire online, with multiple netizens offering their opinion. Fiddy also got in on the action, making a post on Instagram and accusing the former A$AP associate of trying to get a quick bag. Fif included the viral clip of Relli on the stand, typing, “Man I hope Rockie [sic] alright this fool just want some money, we seen this movie before, it’s a re-run, sucker a** [ni**a] smh.”
The G-Unit leader’s fans commented under the post, slamming Relli for his actions, while other accounts stated that Rocky should have taken the plea deal. “Not even a civil lawsuit.. he don’t even want no money he literally just wanna see bro in jail,” someone typed. “I don’t get what’s wrong with people, ya’ll blame the guy who got SHOT by his ‘friend’ for seeking justice, more than the actual shooter? Are ya’ll retarded? Rocky put himself in this situation, nobody else,” another opinion dropped in. “He should’ve taken that first deal. smh. Playing with fire,” a subsequent comment read.
Relli, né Terell Ephron, offered his testimony on Tuesday with the former A$AP member insisting that Rocky threatened his life. Relli claims the rapper, né Rakim Athelaston Mayers, pulled to his Hollywood hotel “with two goons” following up on his text messages that he perceived as a call for violence. An argument between Mayers and Ephron broke out until Rocky suddenly whipped out a firearm, allegedly pulled the trigger, and a bullet “grazed” Ephron’s knuckles.
Mayers and his attorney, Joe Tacopina, have maintained Rocky’s innocence, insisting that the gun was merely a prop. Tacopina stated that Mayers looks forward to taking the stand to speak his truth.
“That being said, [A$AP Rocky’s] eager to tell his story and would love the opportunity to do so…He’s very articulate and intelligent, he’s a good human being and that will come out if he testifies,” he said. “But that decision isn’t going to be made yet. And it depends on how the case goes.”
