4 under $30: Sip & nibble your way through Southwest Florida at fun foodie events
Spring break, March Madness, Easter and Ramadan all in one tidy month?
Apparently so, and if you’re among those expecting guests, we have fun food ideas to keep everyone busy.
A berry nice roadtrip
Take advantage of Florida’s short-lived blueberry season by heading to Blueberry Bunch Farm’s “u-pick,” which runs Thursdays through Sundays (including Easter on March 31) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until mid-May.
“After Hurricane Ian, we have around 50,000 blueberry bushes and 16,000 new blueberry plants,” said owner Kris Velasco, who is celebrating his farm’s 5th anniversary.
Blueberry Bunch Farm provides buckets and bags. The charge for your haul is $7 per pound or $30 per bucket. Parking is free, and there is no entrance charge.
