3.Turning Red
Set in Toronto in 2002, this tale of growing pains told through metaphor is unique, silly, and marvelously moving. It's great! The film follows Mei Lee, a 13-year-old girl torn between being her mother's perfect little angel and...well, being a 13-year-old girl. Having previously been one myself, I can truly say I've never seen a movie capture the pure chaotic weirdness that is being a teenage girl quite like this one. Like, just change 4*Town to My Chemical Romance, and Mei is teenage me.

But never among those things was "Hey, let's save the world!" — which is exactly what this comedy explores. After accidentally catapulting himself to 2022, a time-traveling fighter pilot teams up with his younger self to save the future. Also...this cast, though.

9.The Lost City
A reclusive romance-adventure novelist heads out on a book tour with her super-hunky cover model, but the two get more than they bargained for when the author is kidnapped, forcing the model to save her. This plot low-key reminds me of a modern day Romancing the Stone with the genres tweaked, so tbh, count me in.

10.Everything Everywhere All At Once
In this sci-fi spectacular, Michelle Yeoh — an icon among us — plays Evelyn Wang, a woman suddenly confronted with every possible version of herself existing in a multiverse. Evelyn is summoned to aid in some sort of multiverse-related crisis, and she discovers she can utilize the abilities of every version of herself across time and space. We also get Jamie Lee Curtis — fellow icon living among us — in a role described only as "a villainous bureaucrat."

11.Moonshot
Doesn't this screenshot look like an edit of To All the Boys I Loved Before made by a fan who really wanted Cole Sprouse cast as Peter instead of Noah Centineo? No? Okay. Anyway, this sci-fi rom-com sees a chill barista attempt to sneak aboard a space shuttle headed to a colonized Mars with the help of a college student, who's on her way there to visit her boyfriend.

15.The Bubble
In the meta comedy to end all meta comedies, Judd Apatow parodies the Jurassic World Dominion filming process during COVID-19, which saw all of the actors living in a "bubble" to prevent the spread. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being Netflix's big April Fool's Day joke on all of us.

I like to imagine Eggers just went into the studio and pitched the sentence "Viking revenge story" and the studio heads were immediately like, "Do we have a Skarsg?rd available? Get one on the phone!" and that was the end of the conversation.

In a title that throughly sounds like an amusement park ride, the not-so-good Doctor is back at it again, this time battling the scariest thing imaginable: the consequences of his own actions! After accidentally opening the multiverse for Peter Parker (who?), Strange teams up with Wanda Maximoff in an attempt to set things right. Also, there will be a LOT of cameos in this.

Anyway, this movie was supposed to come out back during the before times, and its release was delayed more times than I delay doing a simple task that would take me under 15 minutes, so it'll be awesome for fans to finally see it! Also, it comes out on my birthday!

The beloved Belchers finally have their very own feature film! After a ruptured water main creates a sinkhole right in front of Bob's Burgers, everyone's favorite family must figure out how to save their summer business. Similar to the above, this one was also delayed almost two full years, but now it's here, and it also comes out on my birthday! (Not that I'm expecting you to get me anything, we just met!)
