It's perfect. I love this dress so much, I vividly remember it even though the episode aired, what, a year and a half ago? When I started compiling for this post, this one hit me pretty quickly.
Why I'd get married in it: It oozes the regal-ness, the special-ness, the traditionally feminine glamour that the part of me who gives a crap about a wedding dress would love to have.
Best part of the dress: The shininess, but the silhouette is a veeeeery close second.
What I'd be willing to trade for it, in theory: Two of my childhood memory boxes.
2.Vivian's opera dress from Pretty Woman.
Now, does Pretty Woman have a plethora of think-piece-worthy gender and social class dynamics? Yes. But is this dress think-piece-worthy because it's so flawless? Yes.
Why I'd get married in it: This dress would mark the importance of the occasion without overdoing it in a way. Like, yes, a wedding is a noteworthy event, but the marriage is what we're here for, which I think Vivian's gown gets.

Embarrassing confession time: I had the image above saved as a tab on my computer for months because I wanted to find this dress. I never did (but in all fairness I don't think I really looked that hard, LOL).
Why I'd get married in it: It's a perfect mix of fun and fancy. I mean, imagine dancing in this dress! Oh, the way it would turn! But at the same time, the off-the-shoulder top makes it secret-agent cool. A dream combo.

Iconic is such an overused word, but my oh my does it apply right now. Will you, dear reader, who I assume and hope has watched Clueless, ever forget this outfit? Will anyone? These are the questions that plague me.
Why I'd get married in it: Without going too much into my thoughts on having a full-blown wedding, because that's none of your beeswax, and also my thoughts are boring, the ceremony itself doesn't hold much weight to me, so a short, simple, white dress would work wonders, as it would acknowledge the wedding casually. And this is the best short, simple, white dress in the world.

5.Cinderella's gown for the ball in Cinderella (2015).
I saw this movie three times in theaters. Three times – and in, like, one week or something. Perhaps this huge, amazing dress played a subliminal part in that. Who's to say?
Why I'd get married in it: On paper, this dress is too much for me. It has pseudo-ruffles on top, and I do not usually like ruffles, plus the skirt is too big to comfortably sit in. But the gown is so earnestly fairy tale-esque that I adore it. I would feel like such a magical bride in this.

6.Paige's dress at the Love Island Series 6 prom.
I'm 99% sure I gasped when Paige walked out in this dress. She looks ridiculous. She looks like a villain in an action movie, and that's a gigantic compliment.
Why I'd get married in it: I love the suave vibe caused by the neckline and the slit. As someone who doesn't have a suave bone in her body, I would be happy to embrace this attitude for a wedding.

Why I'd get married in it: Wedding dresses can all be quite similar – you know, white and beautiful and yada, yada, yada – but this beautiful mostly white dress avoids that trap though the high-low, the floral pattern, and the black underskirt thing (I've forgotten what that's called – a slip?). Getting married in something both so original and so classic would be fantastic.

Why I'd get married in it: '40s dresses have a grace and a dignified quality that I would be hard-pressed to find in any other decade to the same degree. So when you add seafoam green to that, it's kind of immoral to dislike it. I would be honored to feel this debonair when getting married.
