Abbott Elementary
Janine and Gregory’s long-awaited second smooch in the Season 3 finale was so steamy that Gregory shooed the camera crew away for privacy. But truthfully, it was the commanding and capable way that he declared, “I fixed your light,” before kissing Janine that really got us hot and bothered. There’s nothing sexier than a man who’s good with his hands. (Season 3, Episode 14)
Agatha All Along
“You don’t have a heart,” Agatha scoffed at Rio, soon after emerging from her “Agnes” persona. “Yes, I do,” Rio countered, noting: “It’s black. And it beats for you.” Add to that Rio’s sensual licking of Agatha’s palm, and it instantly became clear that these two witches had a torrid past. (Season 1, Episode 1)
All American: Homecoming
We’re going to conveniently set aside — just as Lando and Simone did for most of this episode — that Lando already had a girlfriend during this intimate two-hander, in which he and Simone grew much closer while spending an entire day together. Instead, we’ll remember Simone and Lando’s undeniably deep chemistry, which peaked when Lando took professional photos of Simone that would allow her to see her true beauty. These two never even touched during the photoshoot, yet it was easily the most sensual moment of Homecoming‘s final season. (Season 3, Episode 8)
The Bachelor
Looking back on this early moment from Joey Graziadei’s Bachelor season, there should never have been any doubt he’d end up with Kelsey Anderson. After Kelsey sheepishly mumbled that she might be falling for Joey, he gave her some seriously sultry eye contact and told her, with surprising and sexy authority, to “Say it one more time.” Wait, are we suddenly falling for Joey, too? (Season 28, Episode 6)
Bel-Air
Once again reminding us how much times have changed since The Fresh Prince aired back in the ’90s, Bel-Air‘s Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv flirted with the idea of opening up their marriage — and we do mean flirted. From the scene’s mood lighting to the couple’s knowing eye contact, we could practically feel the steam coming from that hot tub. (Season 3
Bridgerton
From the series’ beginning, Penelope had longed for neighbor Colin. But only in Season 3 did he start to suffer from the kind of desire for his confidante that he described as “a feeling that is like torture but one which I cannot, will not, do not want to give up.” With her encouragement to become “so much more” than her friend, he acted on his newfound lust, turning a carriage ride into a tryst that was so scandalous, it would (and did!) make Lady Whistledown blush. (Season 3, Episode 4)
Brilliant Minds
Dr. Wolf is very intense about pretty much everything in his life, so we weren’t surprised that his nascent relationship with Dr. Nichols went from “longing looks” to “can’t keep our hands off each other” in record time. Still, we weren’t prepared — but were very grateful — for their sweet-and-hot elevator make-out session at work. Not even Wolf’s mom catching them in the act cooled things off! (Season 1, Episode 8)
Chicago Fire
When Severide finally returned home from his arson investigation training program, there was still plenty of tension between him and Stella, even as the two got it on in the shower. “Who invited you in here?” she asked tersely – but she also had no desire to let him get out of the steam! (Season 12, Episode 1)
Cross
John (Isaiah Mustafa) just wanted a shower after going all night with Kayla (Alona Tal). Or, so he thought. Because when Kayla stood up on the rumpled sheets to flick her hair to the side and note they have an hour until they must leave, well… you don’t have to ask twice! (Season 1, Episode 6)
Heartstopper
Nick and Charlie’s romance had been so sweet, we weren’t sure if we were ready for them to have sex (even if they were). But the boyfriends’ first time going all the way beautifully allayed our fears by having Charlie put his trust as well as his body in Nick’s hands; Charlie even made himself so vulnerable that he asked Nick to take off his shirt. Nick’s perfect response: “I love you, and you are so f—king hot.” (Season 3, Episode 8)
Industry
A lovely walk around the castle gardens turned into a bit of afternoon delight for Yasmin and Robert, as the two got very busy on a bench overlooking a pond. They even whispered those three magic words to each other which had our hearts soaring… until it all came crashing down later. (Season 3, Episode 8)
Interview With the Vampire
What could be sexier than two immortal lovers reuniting after decades apart, baring their souls and embracing against the backdrop of a devastating New Orleans hurricane? (Season 2, Episode 8)
Lioness
When Joe found husband Neal all sweaty from mowing the lawn, the verbal foreplay was plenty dirty. (Yard work “is my only exercise,” he said; “We can fix that,” she winked back.) And fix it the marrieds did, with a hot, soapy shower that got everyone clean while fogging up our screen. (Season 2, Episode 2)
Maxton Hall
Buoyed by the insane chemistry between stars Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten, James and Ruby’s first time together was so deliciously passionate, vulnerable and NSFW that we can only show you this extreme close-up of their faces. (Season 1, Episode 6)
My Lady Jane
Sword-fighting their enemy together turned out to be quite the turn-on for Jane and her new husband Guildford, who capped the battle with a passionate kiss that led to the bedroom. (Alas, Jane might as well have thrown a bucket of cold water on the hot encounter when she asked for a divorce mid-makeout.) (Season 1, Episode 3)
NCIS: Hawai’i
Lucy and Kate were already having a fun time working undercover as newlyweds, But when they had to huddle close, pressed up against each other, to elude a bad guy, playing under covers was very clearly on each of their minds. (Season 3, Episode 4)
Nobody Wants This
While relatively chaste compared to some other scenes on this list, Joanne and Noah’s first kiss was not lacking in heat. It was all about the moments leading up to the liplock – from how Noah told Joanne to hand over her ice cream and put her purse down to the way he intently starred at her and then cupped her face – that sent shivers up our spines. (Season 1, Episode 2)
Shōgun
When Mariko stumbled upon Blackthorne taking a dip in the hot springs (“I’m happy to see you changed your mind about bathing”), the encounter was literally steamy. But later that night, Mariko slipped into the anjin’s room to “pillow” with him on the down low, and their touching of bodies was downright palpable. (Season 1, Episode 4)
Station 19
It wasn’t just the wildfire that raised temperatures in the much-missed Grey’s Anatomy spinoff’s penultimate episode. In the opening moments of “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” we were treated to a hella steamy montage in which Sullivan and Ross, Maya and Carina, and Travis and Dom started their days in an extremely good mood. (This, even though it turned out that Travis was only enjoying dream nookie!) (Season 7, Episode 9)
Three Women
Lina spent much of the series looking and acting like a horny deer in headlights paralyzed by her own humdrum life. We audibly gasped — and then screamed! — when Lina finally took charge and spontaneously used a Cadbury Creme Egg, found in her son’s Easter basket, during a hookup with Aidan. The move was unexpected — innovative, even! — and proved even the most mundane tokens of motherhood can contain multitudes. (Season 1, Episode 7)
