Jelly Roll will appear from his “Beautifully Broken Tour,” and will deliver two performances. He’s a finalist for Top Song Sales Artist, Top Rock Artist, and Top Hard Rock Song. His album “Beautifully Broken” recently became his first No. 1 hit on the Billboard 200.
Megan Moroney is a contender for Top Country Female Artist and will perform outdoors from Nashville. Her latest album, “Am I Okay?,” recently debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and in the top three on the Top Country Albums chart. Her song “I’m Not Pretty” notched 44 weeks on the Hot Country Songs chart.
Shaboozey will perform “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and “Highway” during the ceremony. “Tipsy” has become one of the biggest hit singles of all time, spending a record-tying 19 weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, matching the run by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus‘s “Old Town Road.” That success has put the country artist in contention for six BBMAs: Top New Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Streaming Song, Top Selling Song, and Top Country Song.
SEE2024 Billboard Music Awards add Coldplay, Seventeen, Teddy Swims, Tyla to performers lineup
Stray Kids are four-time BBMA finalists this year: Top Duo/Group, Top Global K-Pop Artist, and Top K-Pop Album (twice!). They will perform a medley of two of their 2024 hit songs. They were the first group ever to debut at No. 1 with their first five albums in a row. Their most recent chart-topper was the EP “Ate” released in August.
These artists join the previously announced Coldplay, Seventeen, Teddy Swims, and Tyla at the Billboard Music Awards, which decides winners based on commercial performance as measured by the weekly Billboard charts.
