2 Chainz and Swae Lee Interact With Tesla Optimus Robot at Elon Musk's 'We, Robot' Event
2 Chainz and Swae Lee got the opportunity to check out the new Optimus robot created by Elon Musk and Tesla .
On Thursday night, Musk hosted a "We, Robot" event at Warner Bros. Studio in California, where he gave guests a preview of the upcoming tech from his company. In addition to witnessing Tesla's first self-driving taxi, the "Cybercab," a two-seater vehicle with no steering wheel or pedals, fans got to check out the new generation of Tesla Optimus robots.
Over a dozen robots roamed around the venue space and interacted with guests, including one that served drinks behind a bar. Swae Lee and 2 Chainz got an up-close view of the humanoid robots as the Rae Sremmurd member asked one of the robots to sing hit smash hit "Sunflower" while the Atlanta native had a full-blown conversation with another. According to Musk, the robot will cost less than a car and could be owned by anyone.
"It'll be able to do anything you want," Musk told the crowd. "So it can be a teacher or babysit your kids. It can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries, just be your friend, serve drinks, whatever you can think of, it will do...I think this will be the biggest product ever of any kind."
While 2 Chainz and Swae Lee were amazed by Musk's latest inventions, Tyler, the Creator isn't too fond of the Tesla CEO. During a recent headlining set at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas, T yler switched the lyrics to his song "9/11/Mr. Lonely" to take a jab at Musk .
"Sucks you can't gas me up / Man, fuck Elon," Tyler rapped to the crowd.
