Harry S. Truman was the 33rd President from 1945 to 1953. In his early career, he worked as a drugstore clerk in Independence, Missouri, where he primarily focused on cleaning and organizing tasks. Following this role, he also worked as a contractor, clerk, and bookkeeper.
