14 K-Dramas That Are Remakes of American and British TV Shows
All of these K-dramas are adaptations of the English-language versions. Although the characters and storylines may be similar, they all have a unique appeal. Plus, you'll always find sprinkles of those cheesy and/or intense K-drama charms.

Here are 14 K-dramas you'll love if you're a fan of the American or British versions:
1.The World of the Married
Based on: Doctor Foster
Watch it on: Disney Plus
This drama isn't the highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history for nothing! It reached a nationwide rating of 28.37% on its last episode, overtaking popular K-drama series like Sky Castle and Crash Landing on You by more than 5% margins.
The series revolves around Ji Sun Woo, a well-known psychiatric doctor, and her husband, Lee Tae Oh, an aspiring director in the film industry. On the outside, their family looks perfect with their respected careers and sociable personalities. However, that all changes when Sun Woo discovers that her husband is having an affair with Yeo Da Kyung, a much younger woman and only daughter of a very wealthy family.
2.Woori the Virgin
3.Money Heist: Korea — Joint Economic Area
4.Criminal Minds
5.18 Again
6.Entourage
7.One Ordinary Day
8.Designated Survivor: 60 Days
9.Suits
10.Life on Mars
Based on: Life on Mars
Released in 2018, this K-drama is another one for all my mystery and thriller fans. Han Tae Joo is the leader of a crime investigation team — and a good one at that. However, during an investigation of a serial murder case, he time travels back to the year 1988, with no recollection of why or how. Contrasting to his usual job, he is hired as a detective at a police station in a small and rural city. In order to get back to his normal life, he takes on another serial murder case.
11.Less than Evil
12.Romance is a Bonus Book
13.Little Women
Based on: Little Women
Watch it on: Netflix
Technically, the Little Women American film isn't a TV show, but it's so popular I thought it was important to include it on this list. Korea is coming out with its own version of Little Women starring Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hu, with the release date predicted to be in August of 2022. The K-drama will depict the three sisters' lives as they find themselves in a case involving the richest family in South Korea. Despite mostly growing up in poverty, the sisters must use their close bond to work together against this family.
