25 things to declutter in under 5 minutes (tidy up your home in 2 hours!)

Clutter can feel overwhelming, like an endless mountain you’ll never conquer. When it seems impossible to know where to start, take a deep breath. If you’ve already tackled my first list of 25 things to clutter in under five minutes, here is your next decluttering challenge!
1. VHS tapes
If you don’t have or use a VCR, it’s time to say goodbye to those tapes.
2. DVDs
Do you still watch them, or have they been replaced by streaming? Donate or recycle the ones gathering dust.
3. CDs
If you’ve gone digital, sort through those CDs and keep only the truly special ones.
4. Bathing suits
Keep the ones you love and let go of anything that doesn’t fit or is worn out.
5. Scarves
Do you really need 15 scarves? Keep your favorite and donate the extras.
6. Pool and beach toys
Sort through these seasonal items and toss anything broken, sun-bleached, or no longer used!
7. Sunscreen
Check expiration dates. Expired sunscreen won’t protect you anymore!
8. Bug spray
Just like sunscreen, bug spray expires. Clear out any old bottles.
9. Blankets
Keep the cozy ones you use and donate the ones that have been sitting in the closet for years.
10. Pool and beach towels
Toss the faded, frayed, or stained ones, and keep only what you need.
11. Baseball hats
If they’re misshapen or unworn, it’s time for them to go.
12. Coat rack
Is it overloaded with items you don’t even wear? Clear it off and hang only the essentials.
13. T-Shirts
Declutter just one drawer by letting go of shirts you don’t wear or love.
14. Cleaning rags
If they’re worn out and no longer effective, it’s time to replace them.
15. Umbrellas
Sort through and keep only the ones that work. Broken umbrellas can go!
16. Travel toiletries
Time to use up or toss half-empty bottles and expired products!
17. Koozies
How many do you really use? Let go of extras from corporate events and giveaways.
18. Coasters
Keep only the ones you ACTUALLY use and love.
19. TV remotes
If you have remotes for devices you no longer own, recycle or discard them.
20. Old pens & markers
Test them out. Toss the dried-up ones, and finally clear out that junk drawer.
21. Toys your kids have outgrown

22. Medicine cabinet
Check for expired medications and dispose of them safely.
23. Nail polish
If it’s dried out or separated, it’s time to let it go.
24. Old journals
If you’re holding onto old notebooks and journals you no longer care about, recycle them. And DO NOT buy a new one until you fill up the ones you have!
25. Suitcases
Keep the ones you use and donate or discard the rest.
