Rosie O’Donnell, James Corden, and Other Celebs Respond to Donald Trump’s Women’s Day Tweets
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8, marking the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
Of course, President Trump took to Twitter early Wednesday morning with a special message for all the ladies out there: “I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy.”

Not surprisingly, Rosie O’Donnell, Chelsea Handler, Mark Hamill, Samantha Bee, James Corden, and other celebrities couldn’t help but respond to the president’s tweets.
In case you forgot, Trump’s history of degrading women became an issue during the presidential election. He’s made controversial comments about everyone from former Miss Universe Alicia Machado to journalist Megyn Kelly to Rosie O’Donnell.
Most notable were the remarks he made off camera during a 2005 interview with Access Hollywood host Billy Bush. “I’m automatically attracted to beautiful [women] — I just start kissing them,” he said. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. … Grab ’em by the p***y. You can do anything.”
Trump later dismissed the leaked tape as “locker-room banter.”
