New Mom Chrissy Teigen Dares to Go on a Date, Is Ambushed With Unsolicited Parenting Advice
Chrissy Teigen is no stranger to the awful trend that is mom-shaming. Since she announced her pregnancy, the 30-year-old has been criticized for everything, from her food habits and body to the fact that she chose to implant a female embryo during her IVF treatments. This time, the 30-year-old was slammed for-wait for it-going out to dinner (GASP!).
Over the weekend, Chrissy and her husband, John Legend, enjoyed their first date night since welcoming their baby girl, Luna Simone.
But rather than supporting the new mom for finding time for herself and her marriage, her followers flooded her feed with absurd messages (no, really some even called out her vagina) about how horrible she is for leaving her newborn baby.
Chrissy, who, let's face it, is never one to stay shy about anything, did what she does best: stuck up for herself. She screenshotted some of the worst call-outs, shared them on Twitter, and responded in the best way possible.
"I went to dinner. People are p***ed. Good morning!" she fired back at her critics.
Another wrote, "how's baby Luna?" to which Chrissy cheekily responded: "I dunno I can't find her." Good one, Chris.
Another comment read, "I never wanted to leave my daughter, I love her, BUT THAT'S JUST ME" - the passive aggressiveness is real!"
Well, Chrissy, you do you.
