With awards season behind us, stars are starting to switch up their beauty looks for their newest roles. We saw Jared Leto chop is hair and go platinum (upstaging Kim Kardashian’s blonde moment) and now, Theory of Everything star Felicity Jones is making a major change.

Aura Friedman, colorist at Sally Hershberger salon in NYC who is known for taking clients blonde, posted a picture of a newly platinum Jones on her Instagram Friday morning. The color change was done for a new role, and done in just one day. That kind of transformation takes a serious pro and Friedman shows off her expertise. Jones looks a lot edgier with her blonde chop. We can’t wait to see what part she’ll be playing next.
