Chrissy Teigen Breastfeeds Baby at the NBA Finals
Yes, you can breastfeed anywhere — even at the NBA playoffs. And that’s exactly what new mom Chrissy Teigen did for her 2-month-old, Luna Simone Stephens, backstage at the Warriors vs. Cavaliers game in Oakland on Thursday night.
Mom and baby spent most of the game behind the scenes, where dad John Legend joined them after he sang the Star Spangled Banner at the start of the game to read Goodnight Moon and snuggle.
That’s when he captured the sweet moment of a topless Teigen, former Sports Illustrated swimsuit covergirl and FABLife co-host, nursing baby Luna on a couch. Teigen then covered the image with a little red heart and sent it out on Snapchat — something she’s done before to showcase her milk skills, such as in early May, when she Snapchatted a pic of herself feeding Luna on a breastfeeding pillow as she was being glammed up on the set of a photo shoot.
When it comes to promoting proud, positive images of breastfeeding, Teigen is in some great fellow-model company — with Nicole Trunfio, who nursed her baby Zion on the cover of Elle Australia in 2015; Olivia Wilde, who breastfed baby Otis in a glossy Glamour spread in 2014; Gisele Bundchen, who famously Instagrammed a pic of herself nursing her 1-year-old while simultaneously being primped by hair and makeup people in 2013.

Teigen seems to return often to the theme and is clearly loving it — even tweaking her beauty routine in the name of breast milk. “Just spray tanned around my breast pump outline,” she tweeted last month. “The logistical challenges of a healthy beach glow while boobing are incredible.” Good to know.
