What’s not to love about an award show that brings together Lena Dunham and Meryl Streep on one red carpet? Award season kicks off this Sunday with the Golden Globes, a show that honors the achievements of the movie and television industry — and as any astronomer can tell you, when a bunch of stars get close together, they start to disrupt their mutual stellar atmosphere.
